KC Wang, Clemson University and Big Switch

Dr. K.-C. Wang is an Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Clemson University, a Member of the Technical Staff at Big Switch Networks as the Floodlight Release Manager, and a mentor for Mozilla's Ignite challenge on OpenFlow. In Fall 2012, he was on sabbatical with Stanford University's OpenFlow research group and the Open Networking Lab, extending Floodlight for BGP integration and inter-domain packet forwarding. As the PI for Clemson's CC-NIE project, he leads a team of faculty, students, and a newly established IT SDN team to plan and deploy OpenFlow network on campus. Students are now working on TCP data transport optimization, mobile handoff, and network coding with multi-path routing using Floodlight.
