CENIC's fees for use of its CalREN-DC network are based on the bandwidth of the connection to the backbone. Current fees for usage by new (non-charter) CalREN associates are:

• Up to 50 Mbps (includes DS3 and 5, 10 and 20 Mbps metro Ethernet): $52,000/year
• 100 Mbps: $56,000/year
• 155 Mbps: $59,000/year
• 250 Mbps: $65,000/year
• 500 Mbps: $82,000/year
• 1 Gbps: $113,000/year

In addition to these fees, a member pays for the costs of equipment and circuits to connect to the CalREN backbone.

Fees for connectivity to the CalREN-HPR network are:

• 1 - 10 Gbps: $340,000/year
