March 11-13, 2013: CENIC 2012 Annual Conference • Conference Website The Corporation for Education Network Initiatives in California (CENIC) will hold its 16th annual conference, Building Blocks for Next Gen Networks, at Calit2 @ UC San Diego in San Diego, CA. For three days, the K-20 research and education community from California will come together, with many of their colleagues from around the world, for presentations, demonstrations, and keynote speakers illustrating the value of the high-performance networking made possible by the California Research & Education Network to their communities. March 10-12, 2013: CISOA 2013 Annual Conference • Conference Website Representatives from community colleges throughout the state of California will come together at the Community College Chief Information Systems Officers Association (CISOA) 2013 conference, Technology Leadership for Student Success. This relational conference and exhibit promotes an opportunity for networking, information exchange and learning. Deans, vice chancellors, MIS directors, vice presidents, IT directors, and others from the community college arena will be attending. April 21-24, 2013: Internet2 Annual Member Meeting • Meeting Website The major theme for the Internet2 Annual Meeting is Transforming Global Research and Education with an emphasis on Education at the Margins. During the meeting we will examine how universities, NRENs and other organizations are using MOOCs and networks to educate students domestically and in remote areas of the world.
