Wireless Task Force

The goal of this task force is to look at wireless technologies that will drive a ubiquitous Gigabit statewide network.

The products of this task force will be:

• Conduct a series of sponsored workshops to tie the US wireless research agenda to the Gigabit goal.
• Identify worthy pilot projects that show how wireless solves last mile problems, seek funding, and implement.
• Identify key technologies that exist to prove wireless usefulness.
• Identify key technologies that need to be developed to deliver a ubiquitous Gigabit to homes and businesses statewide.
• Identify key policy issues that need to be addressed to ensure the availability of Gigabit wireless.
