"How much is this going to cost?" is the question most often asked when discussing next-generation broadband deployment.
This task force will identify a targeted cost-per-premise for deployment in both urban and rural areas. The cost-per-premisis
will include factors such as consumer willingness to pay. The task force will also make recommendations for lowering the
cost-per-premise for low-income and rural deployments. Anchor tenants can be major drivers of next-generation broadband deployment
and their adoption of broadband can dramatically affect the overall cost structure. This task force will identify underserved
areas and publish a survey of possible anchor tenants in each area.
