During 2003 and 2004, CENIC hosted a series of roundtable discussions devoted to examining the opportunities and obstacles surrounding the goal of providing One Gigabit connectivity throughout California by 2010.

The actual work of the One Gigabit or Bust Roundtable -- identifying the challenges to achieving One Gigabit access throughout California by 2010 and establishing an action plan to achieve it -- is done in task forces.
