Over the past few years, the scope of CENIC services has broadened to include cost-effective and scalable "above the network" technology services. To meet this need, CENIC invites the submission of proposals for:

1. Cloud compute and storage services for its member institutions;
2. Cloud transition services allowing movement of member institution application workloads to a cloud environment; and
3. Co-location services for those member institution application workloads not suitable for a public cloud environment.

Vendors may bid on any one or more of these procurements.

Schedule of Events:

• Required Vendor Conference: 10am-12pm on August 9, 2012
  • Vendors interested in submitting proposals must have at least one representative attend the on site session. Others may participate by teleconference.
  • Due to limited space, CENIC requests that vendors send no more than two representatives if they choose to attend in person. Others are free to participate via teleconference.
